What was said at the TGI

To Ferrari, the International Automobile Federation did not give the teams the opportunity to give their opinion before the vote on the 2010 regulations. According to an agreement signed in 2005, any regulatory modification must be validated by the Commission F1.

The Italian team's lawyers also informed the Court of budgets of up to ? this year again? 400 to 500 million euros. A reduction of the sums committed by almost 90% would be impossible in a few months according to representatives of the Scuderia.

In response, Ferrari's request was not made on time according to FIA representatives. Still on form, one of the Federation's lawyers openly questioned the competence of a civil court to judge such a case.

Another argument presented: letters from several teams applying for a place in F1 from next season, emphasizing their support for limiting budgets in the discipline.

In the event of a decision favorable to Ferrari, the International Automobile Federation has already announced its intention to appeal.
