It's vacation time for F1 drivers

If the drivers go about various activities during the summer holidays, everyone takes the opportunity to have a good time and rest before tackling the final straight which will take the drivers to Abu Dhabi on November 1st. On the official website of the Formula 1, each pilot left a message to describe their schedule. Find out their destination.

Sebastian Hag (Red Bull) : “I haven’t planned anything yet. I'm more spontaneous and I don't plan my vacation in January. I really like the mountains and, as I live in Switzerland, you will certainly find me there, maybe for a week. And, of course, I will spend time in my hometown of Heppenheim. »

Nick Heidfeld (BMW) : “I can't wait to spend a real family vacation: with Patrizia [his wife] and the children, we will go to the Greek islands. Shh! The name of the island must remain secret! We are going to make sand castles, have a picnic, on the beach, doing things that all parents do with their children. »

Robert Kubica (BMW) : “I'm going to stay at home during the summer break. I'm going to relax a little. I would go do some karting and train physically. That's all. That doesn't sound very appealing, does it? »

Jenson Button (Brawn GP) : “After the London triathlon last weekend, I am going to rest in the south of France before preparing for the European Grand Prix. »

Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) : “I am going to New Delhi for a promotional campaign for Vodaphone. Since I will be in the east, I might take the opportunity to go to the beach for a week. But honestly, I haven't defined anything yet. »

Heikki Kovalainen (McLaren) : “After a visit to the factory for a debriefing, I am going away for two weeks under the sun. Or ? It's a secret. »

Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari) : " After the Rally from Finland I'm going to relax with friends. Maybe I'll do a little motorbike riding in Finland and then go to the beach. It?s quite vague at the moment. »

Adrian Sutil (Force India) : “I'm going to spend a week at home in Switzerland before going to Bali for a vacation with my family. Bali is one of my favorite destinations. It is a charming place. Then, I will return to Switzerland before flying to Valencia for the European Grand Prix. »

Giancarlo Fisichella (Force India) : “I'm going to spend time with my family and friends on my boat, the Fizzy. The idea is to sail around Sardinia and Corsica and have a good time.

Sebastien Buemi (Toro Rosso) : “I'm going to spend a day or two at my parents' house in Switzerland then I'll go to Malaga with my fitness trainer for a week. As a bonus, I'm going to spend four days in New York to immerse myself in the metropolis. »

Jaime Alguersuari (Toro Rosso) : “The weekend after Budapest, I will race at Portimao (in Formula Renault 3.5 Series where he finished 3rd and 1st in both races, editor's note). After that, I'm going to go to Ibiza to work on my physique? and of course to please myself a little! »
