I have always said that there is no better team of Formula 1 to race for and after more than a year with them, I can confirm that donning this suit and representing this team is unique and incomparable. My first season at Maranello was solid and constructive, with the whole group progressing together. The result of all this work has been clearly visible since the start of the season.
I feel strengthened by this new proof of self-confidence and now I can't wait to get in the car, do my best for Ferrari and give its fans something to cheer about. The F1-75 proves to be a car capable of fighting at the front, which can allow me to try to achieve my goals, starting with achieving my first victory in Formula 1 »

Arriving in the ranks of Ferrari in 2021, Carlos Sainz quickly convinced his management with good results on the track. Confronted with Charles Leclerc for his first year in red, the Madrilenian reached the podium 4 times last season and even finished ahead of his teammate in the Drivers' standings (5th and 7th). He was even the only driver on the grid to have completed all 22 Grands Prix contested.
This season, Charles Leclerc gained the upper hand over Carlos Sainz during the first three Grands Prix contested with two victories in particular (Bahrain and Australia). The Spaniard was able to finish on the podium twice, bringing big points to the Scuderia. Results which tipped the scales in his favor when starting negotiations.
