Chandhok must roll and roll again?

For his arrival in F1, Karun Chandhok aimed to drive in order to gain experience. Unfortunately, an exit from the track on the second lap did not allow the Indian driver to show what he was capable of. The goal will therefore be the same this weekend in Australia

Chandhok must roll and roll again?

He was very happy, and surprised, to make his debut in Formula 1 on the occasion of the first Grand Prix of the year. With his cap screwed on his head and long shorts, Karun Chandhok had not made the trip to Bharain as a tourist. The Indian driver had every intention of taking his first start in the premier discipline, and covering as many kilometers as possible in order to learn, in real conditions, the behavior of an F1 car.

Unfortunately, a Formula 1 car is unlike any car he has driven in the past, and an exit from the road on the second lap will undermine the plans of the new Hispania Racing team driver. Like his teammate Bruno Senna, the goal, next Sunday, will be to reach the finish, at the end of a race taking place on a track unknown to him.

“I’m really looking forward to my second race weekend in F1,” said Karun Chandhok. I've never driven in Melbourne, but I'm the type to learn quickly. I had the opportunity to work on a simulator before the Grand Prix, and it will help me a little to familiarize myself with the track! Our next objective with the engineers is to make the car more reliable. The secret to good preparation is to complete as many laps as possible on Friday to see where we stand. Finishing the race would be a fantastic result that we will try to achieve. »

With only two laps in the race during the inaugural round in Bahrain, a Cosworth-powered Dallara experiencing inevitable teething problems, and a very tricky Albert Park circuit which he has everything to discover on the weekend for the second Indian driver entering F1 does not look easy.
