Charles Leclerc motivated in Abu Dhabi: “It’s going to be a close battle” with Sergio Pérez

Neck and neck for the honorary title of 2022 vice-champion of Formula 1 in Abu Dhabi this weekend (perfect tie, 290 pts), Sergio Pérez (Red Bull) and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) began their duel with an advantage for the Mexican during qualifying this Saturday, November 19.

Indeed, the Red Bull driver will start from the first row, alongside his colleague Max Verstappen. But his Monegasque rival will be on his heels because he recorded the third best time in Yas Marina.
