The golden parenthesis of the Grand Prix de France Historique has closed for thousands of fans and for Charles Leclerc, who came to the Var region to enjoy a crowd bath and gauge his immense popularity last weekend. The smile displayed by the Monegasque at the Paul Ricard Circuit faded to give way to the mask of frustration he has worn too often in recent months.

The pilot Ferrari could do no better than 6th in qualifying for the sprint race of the Grand Prix of Miami, finishing behind the Mercedes, McLaren and Red Bull de VerstappenAlthough the gap between him and pole position is relatively small (0 seconds), Charles Leclerc assures that he could not have done better: his position is due to the difficulties of his car, despite his successful lap.
"The result is bad. The lap was good, but the speed is not there at all at the moment," plague number 16 on F1TV. "It's a bit annoying, but that's how it is. I'll do my best to try and do something special at the start, but to be honest, there wasn't much better to do today. Unfortunately, that's where the car is right now."
Ferrari would thus be the fourth force on the grid this weekend, according to Charles Leclerc, who is coming off a successful weekend in Saudi Arabia, where he achieved his first podium of the season (3rd). Despite the improvement seen in Jeddah, his SF-25 continues to cause him problems.
"We're struggling in every corner. It's not like we have a weakness in a certain type of corner. In the slow corners, we seem to be a little less good, but it changes from weekend to weekend. It's just not good." he continues, visibly annoyed by this limitation which prevents him from performing as he pleases.
Despite Charles Leclerc's podium finish in Saudi Arabia, Ferrari sits fourth in the Constructors' standings with 4 points, 78 points behind leaders McLaren (110 points) and behind Mercedes (188 points) and Red Bull (111 points). This is a significant setback for a team that last year challenged McLaren for the title until the final round in Abu Dhabi.

A team that's finished. No one to turn it around. Starting with a single timed lap when the car is worthless, Ferrari isn't very smart.

Ferrari's problem is not related to the Scuderia's competence, but to the limits of the wind tunnel....Red-Bull and Aston-Martin have the same difficulties, some parts are designed in a "grey zone" that does not exist on the track!....hence the failure of these developments!...
