Charles Leclerc: “Be more decisive in the team’s choices”

Strategy was the determining element in obtaining victory at the Mexican Grand Prix last Sunday at the Autordomo Hermanos Rodriguez. And once again, Mercedes showed itself more inspired than its great rival to allow Lewis Hamilton to beat Charles Leclerc et Sebastian Vettel yet at the forefront at the start of the race.

“The last weekends, the strategy was not good, comments the Monegasque. So I need to learn from that and hopefully that will happen over time. »

Launched on a two-stop strategy, Charles Leclerc then suffered in his second stint, without really finding a logical explanation. “I didn't feel good with this set of tires, I don't know why. The first set of mids performed much better so we need to understand and analyze that. »
