Charles Leclerc: “I didn’t expect it”

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) is definitely unplayable in qualifying! The Monegasque took pole for the Azerbaijan GP, the sixth of the season, the 15th in total, and will start from the forefront in the streets of Baku, this Sunday at 13 p.m.

Already a poleman last year in Azerbaijan, Charles Leclerc indicated that he did not expect to win this 4th pole in a row. “ It feels good, all pole positions are nice but I wasn't expecting this one. I thought that the Red Bull would be stronger on this circuit, they were fast in Q1 and Q2. We were in a bit of trouble at that point. But in the end, I managed to put in a good lap, and that was enough.«
