Charles Pic will ride in free practice on Friday with Lotus

Interviewed by RMC, Charles Pic, just confirmed 3rd driver at Lotus F1 Team, announced that he would ride on Friday morning during some free practice sessions in 2014. “I will take the wheel on Friday in free practice. What is important when you are third driver is to be able to ride, and here I will be driving a lot. This can help me move forward. The way of working is certainly different and it is important to have experience in a large team. It's a great opportunity for me to be able to work with a team like Lotus, even if my role will be different, compared to what I was doing over the last two years. I hope this will allow me to bounce back to get a starting seat in 2015.”

Charles Pic joins the Lotus line-ip composed of Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado, the two starting drivers, who will have to give up their steering wheel for certain Friday free practice sessions in 2014.
