Christian Horner responds to Lewis Hamilton

This week, Lewis Hamilton launched a charge against Red Bull. The pilot McLaren declared in the English daily, The Guardian, that the reigning world champion team did not frighten him. Hamilton questioned their ability to maintain the same level of competitiveness. If he had to bet on David against Goliath, he would happily bet fortunes on Goliath “Red Bull is not a manufacturer, it is a drinks company, explains the 2008 world champion. What can a drinks company do against the history and know-how of McLaren and Ferrari »

The British's comments made Christian Horner, the director of Red Bull Racing, jump. “ I don't know the context in which he said that, but for a simple drinks company we still beat the manufacturers with the same resources as McLaren over the last two years. Ultimately, it's what you do on the track that counts. We have won 15 grands prix in the last two years, and two world championships: one manufacturer and one driver, and we have been the most successful in the pits. Red Bull Racing is owned by Red Bull and Red Bull obviously has a global presence as an energy drink. We are very important to the business and the success that Red Bull has experienced is truly unique in such a short period of time. ».
