How Ferrari lost everything in Hungary

Ferrari has once again found itself in trouble due to yet another strategic slump which has - once again - made the Italians look like clowns. As often, it fell on Charles Leclerc, who can no longer hide his frustration. The Scuderia is heading straight into the wall, with its foot to the ground…

The advantage, with Ferrari, is that we have the pleasure of diving back into the delicious scenario ofOne endless day. In Harold Ramis' comedic masterpiece, Bill Murray is forced to relive the same day over and over again. It seems like Charles Leclerc is a bit like the Bill Murray of Formula 1. The Monegasque starts the weekends with boundless enthusiasm, performs almost systematically on Saturday, before drinking the chalice to the dregs on Sunday, and starting again the following week. At this rate, “Carletto” will swap his physio Andrea Ferrari for a psychologist. The duty of neutrality obliges us, but how can we not feel sorry for him, who swallows snake after snake and who buries his title dreams a little more every week because of Ferrari's repeated mistakes? Charles is sufficiently clever and clairvoyant to know this: barring an inconceivable “Ferrariesque” bankruptcy of Red Bull, he will not be world champion in 2022. The milestone of 80 points difference with Max Verstappen having been reached. The championship is almost folded.

Reliability is a problem, the drivers made mistakes, the strategy bordered on the ridiculous and even the mechanics failed in turn, twice, in the pits with Sainz in Hungary. The masterpiece is complete! Everything is said and the red carpet is rolled out for Verstappen and Red Bull Racing... It's hard to remain a supporter of the Scuderia and a fan of the Ferrari brand in such a context!

May this summer finally bring a revolution to the Reds, because we can no longer stand this fiasco every race weekend, and have been doing so for far too long! Enzo FERRARI must be turning in his grave to be covered in shame like this...
