Q3
To introduce a strategic concept, the cars qualified in Q3 must start the race with the tires used during the last part of qualifying.
New technologies
The F1 Commission has received a mandate from the FIA President to introduce new environmental technologies into the championship.
Season 2011
The F1 Commission confirms its request for a ban on “double diffusers” in 2011. The height of the diffuser will be reduced from 175 to 125 mm.
All these measures will be proposed to the World Council for approval.
