Films inspired by motor racing are divided between bad and mediocre, this one falls into the former category. Sure, the racing footage is impressive, but the story is implausible and poor, the story of a guy who returns to F1 at almost sixty years old after a 30-year break...! This film is indeed designed for people who don't know much about F1; not sure they'll really appreciate it when they discover it for real. And then a driver who spends his time slowing down the pack with incessant tire stories..., meh. Too bad the torrid scene between him and the technical director doesn't go to its conclusion.

What is the idea of a driver returning to F1 30 years later? The bigger it is, the more it goes down, did it come out of the head of someone who has never even approached motorsport?? It's astounding that LH is endorsing this. It's certainly ridiculous at the very least. In short, I'm already getting shivers at the thought that ALL WEEKEND on Canal+ they're going to be promoting it non-stop (the fees for this must be pretty substantial).
