D’Ambrosio: “Improve in qualifying”

With Paul di Resta, Pastor Maldonado, Sergio Perez and from Silverstone Daniel Ricciardo, Jérôme d?Ambrosio is one of the five rookies currently active in Formula 1. Resident of Marussia Virgin Racing, it is difficult for the Belgian to stand out. His only standard is ultimately his teammate Timo Glock. Not as fast as the German, who is not the first to come, the Gravity Sport Management driver is having a wise season, without making any mistakes, focusing mainly on gaining experience.

“I can't wait to ride in Hungary, where I will work to put together all the elements allowing me to have a good performance, declares the resident of the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium. I like this route although it is somewhat narrow and you need to find the right pace. It's a bit like driving in Monaco. It?s winding, bumpy, and dusty off the path. I still have to work to improve in qualifying, to make sure I have better chances during the race. If I achieve that, I think I can have a good race afterwards, because the pace of the car in Germany was interesting. I hope to leave for the summer break with a good result. »

Especially since after this break, the protagonists of the “Formula 1 Circus” will meet at Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium, where the Virgin driver will be particularly expected for his home race.
