Daniel Ricciardo doesn't underestimate Kvyat

Daniel Ricciardo changed status last year by dominating Sebastian Vettel from his first season with Red Bull Racing. After being the only one to win outside of the drivers Mercedes Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, the Australian is the first driver within the Austrian structure. This impression is reinforced by the arrival of Daniil Kvyat who only has one season in F1 with Toro Rosso.

If the situation seems more comfortable for Daniel Ricciardo, the latter remains suspicious on the potential of his new teammate. “ Daniil is a good boy”, commented the 25-year-old Australian quoted in The West Australian. “I’ve spent time with him and I’ve known him for four or five years already. He is young but he seems very motivated and very fast. He clearly has great potential and is very confident. He knows he has talent and I think we're going to attack pretty hard. It will be interesting, I can't wait to see how it turns out, but for sure I'm not going to underestimate him."
