Via a tweet from Mario Andretti, 1978 world champion, we learned that Michael Andretti had just submitted an application to the FIA ​​to join the grid, starting in 2024!

Michael has applied to the FIA ​​to field a new F1 team starting in 2024. His entry, Andretti Global, has the resources and checks every box. He is awaiting the FIA's determination.

A spontaneous application, can we call it that, that Andretti wants to support at all costs: the American team, strong from its successes in the United States in IndyCar but also in Formula E, has serious sporting arguments to integrate the Formula 1 grid, in addition to having the resources necessary to pay the anti-dilution tax of 200 million euros requested according to the Concorde Agreements. However, the arrival of a potential eleventh team makes the other ten teams already installed grind their teeth, worried about seeing their income and value decrease with the integration of a new team. The fight is on.
