The least we can say is that Isack Hadjar went through all his emotions during these qualifying sessions for the Japanese Grand Prix. It all started badly for the Racing Bulls driver who, from Q1, complained of a recurring problem in his cockpit. Still the same problem in the cockpit " he reported to his engineer Pierre Hamelin, apparently pointing at the straps of his bucket seat.

A pit stop during the first segment didn't help matters, but the Parisian still managed to make it to Q2. It was precisely between these two sessions that his team asked him to get out of his car so he could take a closer look at the problem. While he later refused to reveal anything, Isack Hadjar managed to complete a second consecutive Q3.

And not just to make up the numbers, since he appeared as the “best of the rest”, ranking only 7th behind the two McLaren, both Mercedes, Charles Leclerc and the poleman Max VerstappenThe icing on the cake is that he beat his idol. Lewis Hamilton, barely 8th, and especially all the direct competitors of Racing Bulls.

« There was something bothering me in the car, he explained from Canal + without going into too much detail. I had to go out and when I got back in everything was fine. Every time we did a lap, I felt the car was a little bit better. We were consistently making the right adjustments, with the right setups that were going in the right direction. Everything pretty much lined up on the last lap in Q3 and I honestly felt good about it. »

Now Isack Hadjar faces another opportunity to score his first career points. While his team's strategy cost him dearly in China, the Tricolore seems better equipped this time to hope to leave with an extra reward in his suitcase, while the weather could add a little spice on Sunday in Suzuka.

« It's a great position (on the grid) compared to our direct competitors since we are ahead of themhe smiled. Seventh? It's the same position as in China, so I pretty much know how to manage from that position.. [As for the weather] It's not clear on the radar yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. A lot of things are going to happen. »

@iceluc Of course Ocon is superior to Hadjar. The best rookie is Antonelli, 30 points and the fastest lap... that's something else than starting 7 and finishing 8...😂. Not to mention Bearman with the Haas who still manages to score 1 point... Poor deranged guy, go...

So, patak... Only the result counts? Is Isack still bad and Esteban the best??? You loser will...

@iceluk If what I say is stupid, your reasoning is idiotic. You call me stupid, I think you're stupid. But count on me, not to sh... on a driver as you falsely claim (only results count 🫡) but to rub your nose in the sh....🤣

@Patak I love Esteban and have since his f3 season where he beat Max.. but anyway that's not the point I'm not 12 years old anymore wanting to absolutely pit one driver against another but anyway.. I have no hatred, the fact is that Isack had 3 high-flying qualifyings, that RB planted its strategy for its 2 drivers at the start of the season and Yuki for example largely deserved to score points in Australia... The final result, the points in the championship, it has nothing to do with the pure talent of the drivers, even more so after 2 races... Relying on Esteban's lucky 5th place, or forgetting that Kimi drives a Mercedes to denigrate Isack's obvious talent, is obviously ridiculous I don't have a favorite, Isack is very strong, you just have to follow his f3 season 3 years ago and his f2 season last year to understand it, but for that again you have to have watched his races, his tire management, his race management in general, it's not me who nicknamed him the little prost... you are there in every Ah article about him coming to sh... on him for no objective reason! I don't know why you systematically want to oppose him to Esteban, one has raced in more F1 teams than the other has done races in general... at what point do you realize that it's stupid??? If I were as stupid as you I would talk to you about the gap in qualifying between Ollie and Esteban to explain to you that the latter is less good than Isack who at least managed to beat his teammate in qualifying at Suzuka, except that you would really have to know nothing about motorsport and F1 to rely on 1 qualifying to draw a conclusion. But continue to make a fool of yourself by coming to spit on Isack every GP weekend, I will be happy to come and read you and delight in your primary school level prose 😀

@iceluk Unlike you, I have no hatred towards anyone. Like you, I have every right to give my point of view (Ocon ahead of the others as a driver) and I simply note the facts, still zero points for your little darling. (not to mention his magnificent first lap in Australia). If you had learned to read properly, you would have seen that I wrote "we'll see tomorrow". So your little specialist humor who believes it and your low-level irony, I absolutely don't care.

@Patak The season is going to be long... Isack was dazzling again in qualifying!! Your unjustified hatred makes you look more and more ridiculous every weekend... by the way, did you call Dr. Marko to enlighten him on your talent detection science, as I suggested? What does he think of your in-depth analyses??? Ahahaah

@ YH R. Antonelli 22 points Bearman 4 points Hadjar zero!! Only the results and the ranking count. We'll see tomorrow but hey, Hadjar is far from being the best French driver. I remember that he has never won anything. As a reminder, also, Ocon 10 points. He is the best French driver currently.

Along with Antonelli, Hadjar is certainly the most convincing rookie at the start of the 2025 season, especially since he hasn't driven the equivalent of 30 GPs in old F1 cars! Fortunately, Horner opposed the good Doktor Helmoooout for Lawson's replacement at Red Bull.
