Successful debut for the Toro Rosso STR13 at Misano

Powered by Renault last year, the stable of Faenza begins a three-year partnership with the Japanese manufacturer and will align Pierre Gasly et Brendon Hartley, confirmed after several promising freelances at the end of last season.

Each team of Formula 1 is allocated two days of driving dedicated to promotional activities per season, with mileage limited to 100 km per event. Contacted by AUTOhebdo, a Toro Rosso spokesperson confirmed that everything went “perfectly” for the first laps of the new creation of technical director James Key and his team.

Positioned in seventh place in the Manufacturers' standings since 2014, Toro Rosso hopes to progress in the global hierarchy with the STR13, which will be officially unveiled on Monday February 26 in the pit lane of the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, just before the start of the 2018 winter tests.
