The former team boss Frank Williams died this Sunday, November 28 at the age of 79. The Briton, keen on motorsport, took his own structure to the top of the Formula 1 through nine Manufacturers’ titles and seven Drivers’ crowns.

Since then, tributes and other reactions have followed one another, first and foremost that of Jost capito, the main team of Williams since February 2021. “Sir Frank was a legend and an icon of our sport. His passing marks the end of an era for our team and for Formula 1. He was one of a kind and a true pioneer. Despite considerable adversity in his life, he led our team to 16 world championships, making us one of the most successful teams in sports history.
