Discover the starting grid for the 2021 Belgian GP

La F1 is back after the summer break on the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit. 

After the carnage of the first round in Hungary, Max Verstappen lost first place in the drivers' standings. The Dutchman will however start in pole position this afternoon ahead of an incredible George Russell on his Williams. Lewis Hamilton, the new championship leader, completes the top 3 and hopes for a dry race. His wish may not come true since the rain is currently falling heavily on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

Behind we will observe the fight between Daniel Ricciardo who posted a very nice 4th time, Sebastian Vettel (5th) and Pierre Gasly (6th). Also note the numerous penalties on the grid. This is the case of Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) and Lance stroll (Aston Martin) who received 5 places for the accident during the first braking in Hungary, but also Lando Norris (McLaren). The Briton changed his gearbox following the big accident at the top of Raidillon and will therefore receive a 5-place penalty.
