Discover the starting grid for the Turkish Grand Prix

For the 18th time in his career, Valtteri Bottas will start from pole position, he will be accompanied on the front row by Max Verstappen. His teammate, Lewis Hamilton, will start from eleventh place, for a Grand Prix which will start at 14 p.m. French time.

Although he only achieved the second fastest time during the qualifying session, Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) will start at the head of this Grand Prix, benefiting from the ten place penalty inflicted on Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes). The Finn will have to fight against Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri) who will start in the second line. For the first time since the Japanese Grand Prix in 2014, Fernando Alonso (Alpine) will start in 5th position, in front Sergio Perez (Red Bull) and Lando Norris (McLaren). The poleman of the last edition, Lance stroll (Aston Martin), is 8th on the starting grid. He is ahead Yuki tsunoda (AlphaTauri) and his teammate Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin).

For his engine change, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) limits the damage by starting 11th. Esteban Ocon (Alpine) and George Russell (Williams) will be placed behind the seven-time world champion. Author of a good performance in qualifying, Mick Schumacher (Haas) is placed in 14th position, far ahead of his teammate Nikita mazepin (Haas), 19th. Between the two pilots we find in order Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren) who failed to get out of Q3, Nicholas latifi (Williams), and the two pilots ofAlfa Romeo, Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Räikkönen. At the bottom of the grid is Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) who receives the same sanction as Max Verstappen in Russia, for having changed his engine for the fourth time this season.
