Encouraging news for Carlos Sainz

Despite a problem which forced him to stop on the track this Thursday afternoon, causing the second interruption of the day, Carlos Sainz was able to evaluate a new package on the Toro Rosso STR10, including a new muzzle. New features which immediately showed their effectiveness according to the Spaniard.

“It was very nice to drive the car equipped with the updated package, specifies the 20-year-old pilot. Most of my time was spent collecting valuable aero data for engineers. Then, towards the end of the morning, I managed to get in a real run. I immediately felt an improvement in the car, in terms of overall grip and balance. It was a very positive feeling and motivating for the rest of the day. We had a problem that cost us some time in the afternoon, but the guys did a great job fixing it. »
