Details on Bianchi's crash at the Japanese GP

The images are impressive. A spectator at the Japanese Grand Prix filmed Jules Bianchi's accident at Suzuka, when the Marussia crashed into the tractor removing Adrian Sutil's Sauber on the curve before the Degner corner. The FIA refused to show the Frenchman's crash. The French driver hit the rear of the vehicle which rose with the violence of the impact. The commissioners who were in intervention were able to miraculously avoid the car in perdition.

Beyond the very impressive impact, one detail raises many questions. The video notably shows a commissioner posted on an elevated point waving a green flag. However, the evacuation of Adrian Sutil's car implied the presence of a double yellow flag in this sector.

Out of respect for Jules Bianchi and his loved ones, we have chosen not to broadcast the video of the accident.
