Two races behind closed doors on the rails at Silverstone

Two races, behind closed doors, this summer. Here is the agreement reached by the Silverstone circuit and Liberty Media after long negotiations. A British Grand Prix could therefore be integrated into the future 2020 calendar of the F1, even if certain conditions still need to be validated.

“However, these races remain subject to government approval, as our priority remains the safety of all those involved, and strict compliance with the rules around Covid-19. » recalls Stuart Pringle, director of the British circuit.

Another parameter remains uncertain, the probable implementation of a quarantine for people arriving by air in Great Britain, desired by the English authorities. Could an exceptional measure then be put in place for F1 personnel?
