What screenwriter could have imagined that after 21 races scattered across the four corners of the world, dozens of sublime tussles, sometimes violent collisions, a non-Grand Prix in Belgium, questionable penalties, incredible twists and turns, murderous little phrases and a permanent tension, they would have arrived at this: Max Verstappen, the impetuous young Dutch prince against Sir Lewis Hamilton, the old English monarch as sharp as ever. Back to back, with 369,5 points each. Ready for a final face-to-face which promises to be as magnificent as it is cruel since there can only be one left at the summit of Olympus.
