In the space of a weekend, the Spaniard offered a summary of his career, between brilliant driving, latent bad faith and internally destructive behavior. For Alpine, everything finally ended well with a giant step taken towards 4th place in the Manufacturers' ranking, but it was necessary to work hard to put out the fire between its two drivers.

Was it Alpine, criticized last summer when she let slip Fernando Alonso in Aston Martin in 2023, had finally made the right decision? Let us avoid any preliminary misunderstanding, the talent and determination of the great from Spain are not in question. And it is not the superb rise of the Asturian from 17th place to 5th position in Brazil that will make us say the opposite. But we wonder where the collective and transformed Alonso that we were sold during his big comeback in F1 in the spring 2021.

Can't wait for 2023 to see if the Bull of Asturias will attack the son of the boss who has already kicked him into the air in 2022 or if he will be a bit "wrong ass"... oops, politics!
