Domenicali: Alonso is at the top of his game

The double world champion F1 led 64 of the 67 laps of the German Grand Prix before climbing to the top of the podium for the 30th time in his career. Thanks to this victory, the Spanish driver now has a 34-point lead over Australian Mark Webber. According to Domenicali, Alonso is playing in a class of its own this year.

Fernando was perfect: no mistakes, no hesitation, attacking at his maximum for over an hour and a half. What a pilot! We know we still have a lot of work to do because we are not the fastest.
