Domenicali happy with the outcome in Valencia

The pilots of the Team managed to achieve a great performance at the European GP. Fernando Alonso got the better of Mark Webber to take second place which should relieve him after his retirement in Montreal. Felipe Massa, for his part, retained his fifth position after being overtaken by Lewis Hamilton.

Stefano Domenicali is satisfied with the performance of his drivers, even if the context does not allow the Scuderia to claim better. “Our only objective must remain victory, we are Ferrari after all”, clearly states the director of the Maranello team. “But all things considered, I’m happy with this result. Fernando and Felipe had a superb race, fighting courageously with their respective opponents. »

However, Stefano Domenicali is apprehensive about the British GP for several reasons. “We must continue to develop the car ahead of Silverstone », continues the director of the Scuderia. “We will have to confirm the progress made on a circuit which does not favor the F150° Italia. The limitation on blown exhausts introduced by the FIA during this next race also raises questions. »
