Domenicali: The 2013 season played from the start

Stefano Domenicali is convinced that the Scuderia will have a better start to the season than last year. The Team Principal of the Italian team must in any case hope so since according to him the hierarchy will be established from the first Grands Prix.

Domenicali: The 2013 season played from the start

Scuderia Ferrari had a difficult start to the season last year with a F2012 lacking performance against its rivals during the first races. Maranello mentioned a wind tunnel problem to explain the poor development of the car Italian and this season turned to the factory Toyota based in Cologne to design the replacement before completing the work carried out in its own factory. The Italian team therefore expects to benefit from better performances in Melbourne, which will be desirable before the team quickly focuses on 2014 and its new technical regulations which risk changing the situation in the peloton.

The teams are pretty quick to work on 2013 before fully focusing on 2014. I think that won't happen after July. This is why it is important to have a high-performance car from the start. »
