Domenicali: “Win the titles”

Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali now wants results. The home which succeeded Jean Todt, after several failures, wishes that the Team wins titles, preferably under his leadership. Thus, at the start of this 2011 season and with the Ferrari F150, the Italian did not vary in his speech. “Our goal is to win world titles. We know it won't be easy but it's really the objective we have set for ourselves and we want to achieve it,” he explains.

In order to better face this season, Ferrari has made some internal changes. “The main change in our organization is at the track engineering level. Our assistant technical director, Pat Fry, will coordinate the activities of the race engineers, who will be the same: Andrea Stella on Fernando's car and Rob Smedley on Felipe's. Aldo Costa remains the technical director. We hired a new person, Neil Martin (ex Red Bull), who will be responsible for improving the simulation tools, not only on the track, but also in the Maranello offices. »

But the keys to a successful season lie in the hands of the two drivers, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa. And Stefano Domenicali is convinced that the Latin duo is ready to shine the red of Ferrari on the track. “They are both very motivated. Both, for different reasons, understood that the coming season was very important, even crucial, for them but also for the team. »
