An atypical circuit, Monaco requires tires that are different from other circuits. Bridgestone has just announced that the choices will have to be made between super soft and soft tires.

Super soft and a new tire in Monaco

“These are two options that are close to each other and operate in the same low temperature ranges,” explains Hirode Hamashima, Director of Motorsport Tire Development at Bridgstone. “Our new intermediate tire will also be presented in Monaco and can be used throughout the season. Its rubber is softer and offers more mechanical grip. »

Concerning the next meetings, Bridgestone revealed its choices: “We based ourselves on the data collected since the start of the season and on our knowledge of the different circuits on which we will race. »

The options between Monaco and Germany:
Monaco: super soft, soft
Türkiye: soft, hard
Great Britain: soft, hard
Germany: super soft, medium
