Time for the counting. A few weeks ago, AUTOhebdo invited you to vote in its survey “Teammate Duels: Who Will Beat Who in 2025?”. The opportunity for you readers to choose who will take the best internally in each stable this season.
After a few days of voting, only one duel between teammates was really disputed. It was the one at Racing Bulls between Yuki tsunoda and Isack Hadjar. Despite his inexperience in Grand Prix, the Tricolore managed to collect 471 votes or 44,64% votes while the Japanese got 584 for 55,36%This is the closest head-to-head in this poll, while in the others, all the drivers chosen as “winners” have more than 70% of the votes.
Among the reigning world champions, the trend is that of the last two seasons, namely a Lando Norris still aboveOscar piastri (72,01% to 27,99%) even though the Australian is starting to gain ground and take up more space on the other side of the garage. Opposed to the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc remains the big favorite for the tifosi of FerrariThe duel is even less tight than at McLaren since the Monegasque was voted for at the level of 73,93% vs. 26,07% for English.

On the side of Red Bull, there was no real surprise since Max Verstappen won the duel with his new garage neighbour Liam Lawson hands down. This is the second biggest gap between two drivers in this poll (97,39% to 2,61% or 1046 votes against 28). Almost the same case in Mercedes where the experienced George Russell is logically seen as the spearhead against the young Andrea Kimi Antonelli (94,86% to 5,14%).
Although he may be 43 years old, Fernando Alonso remains the leader ofAston Martin face Lance stroll. The double world champion, as in the last two years, carries the hopes of Lawrence Stroll's team, whose son's performances no longer excite anyone (96,17% to 3,83%).
This is the least balanced duel in this survey. The one opposing Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan withinAlpine. Clearly, the voters give almost no chance to the Aussie who received only 20 votes against 1055 for the Tricolore, this represents 1,86% vs. 98,14%. Former member of the tricolor house, Esteban Ocon should, according to voters, beat Oliver Bearman by a margin of 77,04% vs. 22,96% in Haas.
New recruit to the project Williams, Carlos Sainz logically won the poll against Alex Albon. It must be said that the Spaniard is coming off 4 successful years at Ferrari and arrives as the new face of Grove's team. If one could have thought it was closer, this face-to-face largely turned in his favor with 87,46% of the votes against 12,54% for the Englishman. Finally at Sauber, whose 2025 season is already looking very difficult, the experience of Nico Hulkenberg won against the youth of Gabriel Bortoleto (85,62% to 14,38%).
