Ecclestone demands Schumacher

Bernie Ecclestone, last summer, had already shown his enthusiasm for the return of Michael Schumacher in Ferrari, replacing Felipe Massa. Once again, the big financier of the F1 sees the possible arrival of the seven-time world champion at Mercedes GP as a blessing for F1, even if he recognizes that this resounding transfer is far from accomplished.

« Personally, I have doubts whether he can make a comeback, Bernie told the Times. But, that said, it?s undoubtedly much more than a rumor. » Despite everything, the hypothesis of Schumi's return to F1 is a satisfaction for the representative of the holders of the commercial rights of the discipline.

« That would be wonderful. You saw the excitement generated by his return when he had to replace Felipe Massa after his accident. » However, Mister E. knows that there is a greater chance that Michael Schumacher will not return, rather than the reverse.

« Franching, I don't know. If I were Michael, I wouldn't do it. But I'm sure he knows he could do the job “, concluded Ecclestone.
