Fear for Pierre Gasly at Suzuka

While trying to return at full speed to the peloton under safety car regime, Pierre Gasly came face to face with a crane which was working on Carlos Sainz's car. A racing event which legitimately frightened the Frenchman, who was also penalized, but supported by all his peers. Eight years after Jules Bianchi's fatal accident, the FIA must be held accountable.

Fear for Pierre Gasly at Suzuka

Managing the towing of Carlos Sainz's damaged Ferrari was extremely problematic © Panoramic

A pure scandal on the part of the FIA! But...with the new president! All the drivers under safety car are coming back full force! It's their job And the crane must only go out under a red flag... It's true it lit up within a second of the crane coming out... Lamentable!! A zero point for the Suzuka marshals, moreover if the race director was competent we would have started in maximum rain and we would perhaps have had 2 hours of racing...?
