Mattias Ekström won the Race of Champions on Wednesday in Beijing, defeating Michael Schumacher in the final. The Swede showed himself to be imperial against the German pilot and won a great victory in the bird's nest.

After a difficult season in DTM, Mattias Ekström gave himself a breath of fresh air by winning the title of Champion of Champions for the third time after 2006 and 2007.
