FP3: Sebastian Vettel finds the rhythm

Discreet during Friday practice, the Red Bull drivers showed better performance during the last free practice session of the Hungarian GP. Sebastian Vettel sets the best time of the morning.

Sebastian Vettel set the best time in the last practice session. Shod on super soft tyres, the German completed the lap of the Hungarian turnstile in 1:21??168. This time remains worse than that of Lewis Hamilton (McLaren), who set a time of 1:21:018 yesterday afternoon. The RB7, however, showed itself to be a little less efficient with the soft tires, but the quantities of fuel on board could have influenced the results.

Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) remains present since the driver of the Team finished only 0??301 behind the World Champion. Jenson Button (McLaren) takes third place with a delay of 0??471, just ahead of Mark Webber (+ 0??477). Felipe Massa (Ferrari) is the last driver in the second (+ 0??834).

Nico Rosberg (Mercedes GP) signs the sixth time of the session (+ 1??366) ahead of Lewis Hamilton (+ 1??499), who missed his run with red sidewall tires. The Briton is between the two Mercedes drivers since Michael Schumacher is eighth (+1??869). Vitaly Petrov places an R31 in the top ten by setting the ninth time (+2??007) ahead of Paul di Resta (+2??108).

Qualifying for the Hungarian GP will take place from 14 p.m.
