Elect the best Grand Prix of the 2022 season

At a time when the drivers and teams are already preparing for the 2023 season, AUTOhebdo invites you to dive back into 2022. A campaign outrageously dominated by Max Verstappen et Red Bull, winners of 17 of the 22 Grands Prix contested. A formality for the Austrian team as it outperformed its rivals.

But despite this domination, this 2022 season offered us some very good races. Just go back to the first Grand Prix of the year in Bahrain. What duel was fought Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen. The reigning world champion tried his luck, but the Monegasque never gave in. The two men did it again a week later in Saudi Arabia where this time the Batavian managed to get the better of his rival.

What can we say about the Monaco Grand Prix scenario where Ferrari had the race in hand and ultimately shot himself in the foot. It thus went from dream to nightmare after a strategic error which deprived Charles Leclerc of a first victory on his land.

The British Grand Prix also has its place among the best races of the year. Besides the first victory of Carlos Sainz, Silverstone was the scene of an incredible three-way fight between Sergio Pérez, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in the final laps offering an incredible show to the spectators present on site but also in front of their televisions. Without forgetting Japan where the rain gave way to a great race with struggles throughout the peloton and even in the pits, and where Max Verstappen was crowned world champion for the 2^e time in his career, or the first victory in F1 of George Russell in Brazil after a perfect weekend for the Englishman, winner of the Sprint and the Grand Prix.
