Finally the rebellion of Max Verstappen at Silverstone? The Dutch driver, who set an exceptional final lap on Saturday in qualifying, will start from pole position for the British Grand Prix, ahead of the two McLaren, this Sunday afternoon. In addition, the top six on the grid were within just 0″229 of each other at the end of Q3. Enough to witness some real battles on the track? On the French side, Pierre Gasly, despite the difficulties ofAlpine since the start of the weekend, will start from a fine eighth place. Furthermore, unlike last year, rain is not expected to disrupt the race.

15h30 - 🌦️​ Weather-wise at Silverstone, showers could disrupt the start, as the forecast predicts a 40-50% chance of rain around 15 p.m. (local time). Things should improve after that.

15h20 - In terms of key figures for this twelfth round of the season, the drivers will need to complete 52 laps to reach the finish line. The record for the fastest race lap is still held by Max Verstappen. The Dutchman set it in 1:27.097 in 2020.

15h08 - The starting grid has seen only one change since the end of qualifying on Saturday. While he was due to start 20th and last, Franco Colapinto (Alpine), who changed several parts of his engine, will finally start from the pit lane.
