A little crowd bath before flying to Australia: here is a good boost for the Ferrari drivers before starting the 2025 season of Formula 1. Lewis Hamilton et Charles Leclerc paraded through the streets of Milan on Thursday in front of a crowd of fans and curious onlookers who came to cheer on the two drivers of the TeamA show sold as a "presentation" dedicated to the Italian public, three weeks after the F1 75 Live ceremony held at the O2 Arena London.
In front of the Sforza Castle, in the heart of the Milanese city, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were able to take the wheel of old Ferraris: the Monegasque drove the 90 SF2019, with which he won his first F1 successes, while the Briton took a seat in the 21 SF2021. On the Piazza Castello, the two new teammates, all smiles and accomplices, offered a nice show to the 20 spectators gathered to admire the men in red. Some had even arrived at dawn to get the best seats, while the presentation started at 000 p.m.
Between donuts, pit stop demonstrations and crowd bathing, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton celebrated this special day in style. Obviously, the seven-time world champion, who recently arrived at Ferrari, was applauded by the tifosi present in Milan. The Briton thanked his fans by stammering a few words in Italian, before returning to English.
“Wearing red and experiencing an event like this is something special, as is being here in front of you with some legendary cars, including those driven by Michael Schumacher, he said on stage. Today is another first time that adds to the other experiences I am living in what is already an unforgettable season for me. I can't wait to take to the track with this extraordinary team. I think we have everything we need to fight for the world title and I also believe that you, the fans, can be our soul supplement. I hope we will have a lot of fun together."
