The least we can say is that Lewis Hamilton will have had the opportunity to acclimatize to his new work environment before starting this new adventure in Australia (March 14-16). Since his first steps in Maranello On January 20, the seven-time world champion racked up the miles of driving with Ferrari.

There was a first TPC on the Fiorano side where the Englishman was able to take the wheel of the SF-23, entered during the 2023 season. On the occasion, he had completed a total of 30 laps for 89 kilometers on the private circuit of the Scuderia. There was then a second one on the Barcelona side, this time a little more difficult since Sir Lewis was the victim from a runway excursion compromising its rolling plan.

And here Hamilton appeared for the third time at the wheel of a car struck by the prancing horse. This time, however, it is not a question of a TPC, but of a Pirelli test. Ferrari has in fact been requisitioned by the transalpine manufacturer to work on its range expected in 2026, which will keep the same diameter as today, namely 18 inches, but with a reduction in the width of the front tires by 25 mm and the rear tires by 30 mm.

On site, the former Mercedes took the wheel of a "modified" SF-24 according to Pirelli and worked on the hardest range, from C1 to C3. In this day that saw him share the track with his teammate Charles Leclerc et Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton completed no less than 87 laps with a best time of 1'15"930. The first two drivers recorded 86 and 159 laps respectively.
