Eric Boullier: “We must remain ambitious. »

La McLaren MP4-30 powered by Honda V6 Power Unit experienced a complicated first winter, a bit like what happened for certain teams last year at the same time. After several problems (MGU-K, various leaks, etc.), Jenson Button experienced an improvement last Saturday with 101 laps completed in one day. Eric Boullier, McLaren Racing Competition Director, spoke to AUTOhebdo.

“Have we done everything we had to do given the situation and the time available? The aero objectives have been achieved, the chassis objectives have been achieved, those of the suspension and cooling systems too [?] indicates the Frenchman. It's true that we haven't covered the ideal number of kilometers and that this disrupts the development of the car. But we must remain ambitious.
