Bahrain Tests: The programme for the final day

The second day of pre-season testing was marked by unusual weather conditions: it rained in Bahrain! By the end of the morning, Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time with a time of 1'29″379, completing 45 laps on a slightly damp Sakhir circuit due to light showers. Once again, this performance is very anecdotal, but it will perhaps help the seven-time world champion to feel even more comfortable at home Ferrari.

Carlos Sainz, at the wheel of his Williams, also impressed by setting the fastest time of the afternoon, beating Hamilton by 31 thousandths of a second.  Red Bull encountered reliability issues with the car by Liam Lawson, before the return to the track of Max Verstappen Friday.

The final day will be crucial for the teams to fine-tune the settings and validate the latest developments before the start of the season, scheduled for March 16, 2025 during the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
