Free practice 3: Rosberg confirms

Nico Rosberg set the best time in the third free practice session held this morning on the Shanghai circuit. The Williams-Toyota driver therefore enters qualifying with pole position in his sights.

This session was not the most peaceful for the German, slightly going off the track during his first run. But Nico finally managed the best time in 1'36"133. As always, however, it is difficult to know who really showed their game during this final session. The Brawn GP in particular seem to have some under their feet…

Jarno Trulli a confirmé la bonne forme des Toyota en signant le deuxième chrono devant Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Nelson Piquet, who does not have the latest developments on his R29. Felipe Massa finally climbs into the top 5.

Small disappointment for RedBull, quite slow in this session. Hag and Webber did not complete many laps due to transmission problems.

On its R29 equipped with the new diffuser and rid of the Srec, Fernando Alonso was only able to complete six laps. The Spaniard is in the penultimate row, almost two seconds behind Roberg.
