Esteban Gutiérrez received a 20″ penalty on his race time for the collision with the Frenchman Romain Grosjean and his Lotus E22, two laps from the finish this Sunday during the Italian Grand Prix at the Monza Autodrome. The Sauber C33 driver, 19th at the checkered flag, finally fell to 20th behind the Caterham of Marcus Ericsson.
“The contact that Esteban had with another competitor was not necessary. » simply commented the Team Principal of the teamHinwil Monisha Kaltenborn. The other Sauber driver, the German Adrian Sutil, finished in 15th place, between the two Lotus E22s of Pastor Maldonado and Romain Grosjean.
