F1 / Alesi: Also supporting Grosjean in difficulty

Jean Alesi was the last Frenchman to be on a Grand Prix podium in 1998 before Romain Grosjean finished third in Bahrain last weekend. The winner of the 1995 Canadian GP reminded RMC that the Lotus driver had been criticized after his two retirements and that there was no need to put pressure on him.

“I don’t see him as my successor”, commented the former pilot Cheers Grand Prize. “This result is promising but we must leave it alone. Since the start of the season, we have heard all kinds of comments about him, it's not fair. He must remain calm and take the time necessary to aim for the summit. We are all happy for him when he gets a podium, but we also have to be behind him when he has a bad performance. »
