F1 / Bahrain: 4th place does not disappoint Button

After suffering from poor balance of the MP4-27 in free practice, Jenson Button still managed to take fourth place on the Bahrain GP grid behind the two drivers. Red Bull and his teammate Lewis Hamilton. The 2009 world champion does not seem really disappointed with his performance after having difficulty adjusting his car. ?It wasn?t really what I was hoping for but it?s still not too bad. It?s always horrible to be in the last lap of Q3 with a bad balance. I couldn't get the full potential of the car and I stopped to save the tires. There car is still better than the day before. »

Jenson Button knows the start of the race will be important to gain places before tire strategy comes into play. “We expected Red Bull to be very fast in qualifying and to be close to them is positive. It?s also a nice surprise to be ahead of Nico (Rosberg) who was on pole a week before. A good start tomorrow will be very important. Lewis and I both start on the dirty side of the track which makes things more difficult. Tire management will also be crucial and I am looking forward to this challenge”, adds the pilot McLaren.
