F1-EL3: Lewis Hamilton precedes Nico Rosberg

Three out of three for Lewis Hamilton in Budapest. The reigning World Champion was once again the fastest during the final free practice session thanks to a best time established in 1’22″997 on soft tires. The Briton dominated his teammate Nico Rosberg, clocked at 98 thousandths, but who was forced to stop his car at the end of the pitlane after attempting a departure procedure at the end of the session.

After a complicated day yesterday, Sebastian Vettel place Ferrari SF15-T in third position, almost nine tenths behind the leader. Less success for Kimi Räikkönen, only 16th time, who was the victim of a mechanical problem on his car, a water leak being suspected by the Scuderia.

Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull) ranks 4th just ahead of Toro Rosso de Carlos Sainz, but more than 1″2 from the best times of the Flèches d’Argent. Stuck at the stand yesterday, after Sergio Pérez’s accident, Nico Hulkenberg (Force India) climbs to sixth position and precedes Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Fernando Alonso (McLaren), Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) and Romain Grosjean (Lotus) which enters the top 10.

Qualifying will take place at 14 p.m., and can be followed live on AUTOhebdo.fr.
