F1: Japan without Mount Fuji

But the high costs of organizing a Grand Prix and the economic difficulties of the automobile sector have taken their toll. The Japanese circuit is not the first to express its difficulties in organizing such a costly event. Hockenheim, which is due to host the German Grand Prix in 2010, is also experiencing serious cash flow problems, with the city's municipal council having expressed its desire to no longer see F1 settle there.
