The future in Formula 1 de Nicholas latifi seems to get a little darker every day. The question is no longer whether the Canadian will leave Williams and F1, but rather when. In recent weeks, rumors have increased about the departure of the man who arrived in Formula 1 in 2020, in particular because of the poor results and the numerous crashes for which he was responsible, mainly this year. At the same time, rumors propelled the reserve driver Alpine, Oscar piastri, in his place at Williams.

According to our information, Oscar Piastri is in fact in pole position to secure a seat at Williams in 2023. The Australian, champion of F2 last year and currently confined to a role in reserve for the republic, could in fact be loaned by Alpine in the Grove stable, which was also loaned by Alex Albon by Red Bull This year. Some colleagues have raised the possibility of Latifi being replaced by Piastri during the summer break, but this should not happen before the end of the season.

Questioned on the subject, the Canadian in any case denied an immediate departure. “I know I will drive until the end of the season, I have nothing much more to add” he said. “I know of course that I will have to increase my performance. I want it. “I'm obviously not happy with how things are going, so I'm working on trying to improve.” First elements of response in Montreal, on its home circuit. Unless it's already too late...
