Federico Gastaldi promoted to Deputy Team Principal at Lotus

Federico Gastaldi is the new Deputy Team Principal of Lotus F1 Team, the British team having confirmed the news this morning. The Argentinian evolved within the structure ofenstone since 2010, serving as director of business development.

“Federico will work closely alongside me as well as the rest of Genii and Enstone and we look forward to the future together”, commented Gerard Lopez. “We must ensure rapid progress on our car this season. It's no secret that pre-season preparations haven't gone as well as we'd hoped, but we believe we can turn things around very quickly. We know it will be a big challenge, especially with this new technology which is new to everyone, but we know we have the potential to develop good cars in 2014 with Renault."
